"I have been involved in making all types of art for most of my life. I started doing crewel embroidery at the age of 10 and some woodworking as a teenager. I have run the whole gamut from tole painting to cross stitch and then I happened upon rubber stamps. My collection grew from a small shoebox full to one iris cart after another. I fell in love with polymer clay and have been working with it about 7 years. I have been published several times, from an article about paper towel stamping in Somerset Studio to being featured in Lark Books 400 Polymer Clay Designs. I am currently toying with hot glass and producing my own lampwork beads. I have even developed some tools to that I sell to glass workers. I design and make my own wire jewelry incorporating polymer clay beads/and or/ glass beads in my pieces. I have taught classes for 4 years in various states and currently teach in my home studio." |
